Schedule of Events for the 2026 Norwood MOTORFest!

We’ve worked hard to create an unforgettable lineup of events for the inaugural 2026 Norwood MOTORFest! From an all make and model car show, to plant site tours, a film screening and an outstanding concourse showcase that will highlight dozens of “best-of-the-best” preserved and restored examples of Norwood built cars, we think you’ll find loads to stay entertained all day.

With a VIP ticket, you can access all of the mini-events we have planned, from a mid-day workforce panel discussion in our VIP lounge, to the GM Norwood mini-museum that will be open at Fretboard Brewery all day, to the special premiere screening of Norwood, Where Legends Were Born, a feature film documentary highlighting the full history of the GM Norwood Assembly plant.

Friday, August 21st

5:30pm

  • Cruise In, Smokey and the Bandit screening and costume contest

  • Media invite for pre-event coverage

Saturday, August 22nd

8am

  • Concourse cars check in and unload/park

  • DJ & day-of vendors arrive and setup

9am

  • General show check in/registration opens

  • Info & Merch Tent opens

  • VIP Lounge opens

  • Mini-Museum opens

10am

  • Plant Tours begin (every hour on the hour) until 3pm - last tour leaves at 2pm

  • Media invite for live feed coverage

11:30am

  • General show registration closes

12:30pm

  • Lunch and Learn - GM Workforce Panel (in the VIP Lounge)

  • Workforce Meet and Greet before and after

2pm

  • Voting for car popular vote closes - ballot box closed and ballots counted

3:30pm

  • Norwood, Where Legends Were Born film screening at the Gatherall Alley

5:30pm

  • Filmmaker Q&A at the Gatherall Alley

  • Awards Presentation
